This position is part of the Global HR Technology Team; specifically responsible for the support, administration and maintenance of Arrow's Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), including, but not limited to, Workday andSuccess Factors (talent acquisition and management). This individual will serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities * System Maintenance * Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRMS system tables. Document process and results. * Production Support * Assess current/new system functionality, explore opportunities for system utilization enhancements and complete gap analysis to determine system global system configuration(s). Provide support for HRMS (Workday) including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. * Process Improvement * Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key Workday liaison with HR Business Groups and other stakeholders. * Reporting * Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. * Training * Work with other internal resources to develop user procedures and guidelines and documentation. Work with training team to develop and train internal clients on new processes/functionality, and ensure training material's are in place for new hires * Project Management * Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative. Educational Requirements 4 year College degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Human Resources Experience Requirements
2 years HR technology experience required with direct responsibility in the areas of HR technology assessment, implementation, maintenance and reporting. 3+ years Human Resources related experience desirable
Experience of implementing or working with Workday or PeopleSoft HRMS is an advantage, but not a requirement
Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects including related change management activities;
Experienced using problem solving methodology and structured process analysis
Advanced systems user particularly in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to handle multiple and varied priorities simultaneously and deliver within defined deadlines.
Proven skills as an integral team lead on technical implementations.
Strong analytical skills and Project management experience. May require travel (10-25% annually)
