The Applied Materials Decision Support and Analytics team designs, implements, and continuously evolves innovative HR technology solutions. The person in this position will deliver APAC HR technology solutions, Reporting solutions, metric dashboards and workforce analytics. You will collaborate with APAC HR, finance, and business leaders to deliver information fundamental to our understanding of the workforce. You will be part of global projects that automate APAC processes. You will evaluate APAC business requirements and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the Region. Responsibilities: · Be part of teams that develop and implement innovative customer centric, HR tools and systems. · Work with various HR to identify issues that can be informed by workforce data, metrics and analytics. · Work with cross-functional APAC HR teams to fully understand the data available in multiple source systems and integrate information in one "single version of the truth" · Deliver Reporting and analytics solutions appropriate to meet the needs of internal customers (ad hoc reporting tools, standard reports, executive dashboards etc.) · Put processes in place to ensure that the needs of APA users are considered as part of every HR systems project. Engage with APAC DSA lead to support reporting, planning and delivery in the APAC region. · Learn to analyze to create meaningful metrics · Gather detailed requirements and play a key role in the implementation of workflow improvements, enhancements, upgrades, and systems throughout the project life cycle. · Drive regional testing and user acceptances. · Build and deliver training, assist with user documentation and change management efforts.
Qualifications · BA/BS or equivalent preferably engineering, computer science, mathematics, or economics. MBA or Advanced Degree with an emphasis MIS, industrial engineering or applied analytics is a plus. · Apply technical problem solving, including ability to learn, and understand the business · Influencing and the ability to consolidate the requirements of multiple stakeholders. · Strong analytical and ability to do data analysis. A natural curiosity and interest in using data as the way to improve operations and performance. · Understand information management, basics and course work in data modeling, system integration, application testing and tiered application concepts and technologies a plus · Knowledge using Excel, Access, SQL, Visual Basic a plus · Ability to communicate and present analytics in a structured and clear manner. · Willing to have a Global mindset and ability to think across disciplines, functions, cultures, and scenarios · Ability to multi-task; prioritize workload, project manage · Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. · Knowledge of or exposure to using HRIS applications and reporting in a organization or company a plus (example. An internship or practical work experience) a plus
