InterSystems seeks a Human Resources/HRIS Analyst to carry out various projects which will include gathering and synthesizing HR-specific data as well as analyzing, querying, auditing, updating, and ensuring the accuracy of the Human Resources Information database.
The HR Analyst is expected to perform routine to difficult database maintenance, information gathering, data input, and troubleshooting of problem areas when needed. This person will serve as the go-to expert in matters related to the HRIS database; as such, s/he will be expected to be highly proficient in all matters pertaining to the system. Responsibilities:
* Run routine and specialized queries and generate reports from the HR database * Design and generate standard reports from a human resource information system (HRIS) * Generate, on request, customized HRIS reports for special projects * Maintain the integrity of data in the HRIS * Partner with Finance and HR Managers worldwide to ensure consistency of HR information throughout all aspects of business operations * Develop and document consistent and appropriate data coding structures * Solve individual and/or systemic database problems identified by Human Resources * Train HRIS users in the proper application of codes and other data entry conventions * Synthesize, report, and create preliminary analyses of HR database information * Generate and maintain real time organization charts and time tracking reports * Partner with internal applications development team and outside vendor(s) to assess current system and recommend appropriate new HRIS technologies as the company grows * Perform other related duties as required Qualifications:
Essential: * University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience * 5 years experience in database input, queries, database management, and resolution of database-related problems * Experience with HRIS systems * Extremely high accuracy and attention to detail * Excellent oral and written communication, and customer, interpersonal and organizational skills * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle interruptions * Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Desirable: * Masters Degree * HR PHR certificate * Familiarity with SQL or applicable database language a plus "We are an equal-opportunity employer and do not discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, genetic information, membership in uniformed armed services or Veterans' status, or any other class protected by applicable law."
