Hyperion Support and Development Lead
Support leadership in identifying and implementation initiatives that will optimize business environment by leveraging financial systems and process improvements. Serve as the business solutions architect and HFM Team lead ensuring the proper fit and prioritization of initiatives. Leverage accounting expertise, system architecture and design, Hyperion functional knowledge to work with various segments and functions to define standards, manage risks and support process governance at around financial business intelligence issues and enhancement opportunities. Perform and manage HFM/Smartview business configuration activities. Play a leadership role in influencing, designing guiding and integrating new business opportunities. Work with internal audit to support risk mitigation and compliance activities. Mentor and educate subordinates.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute HFM/Smartview Governance process for proper fit & prioritization with application strategy
Lead Q/A configuration and other application change efforts including documentation, testing and communications of any process changes to minimize processing and accounting risk due to system enhancements and setup.
Serve as liaison between business functions and IT for issue resolution and planning of new functionality.
Execute continuous improvement activities including but not limited to: organization structure, process, strategy use of tools, technology and documentation.
Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in day to day operational activities leveraging technologies and process change
Lead operational teams addressing system/process corrections to ensure timely and quality resolutions are achieved.
Work with Internal Audit to develop and implement improvements to support risk mitigation
Design, develop and implement improvements of the HFM/Smartville governance process
Effectively manager the HFM/Smartview initiatives
Recommend and apply common processing and reporting standards across the enterprise
Lead and execute the design and integration of new legal entities - JV's, acquisitions, and dissolutions as it pertains to HFM/Smartview
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business proves decisions
Mentor/coach team members
Position Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of business experience including at least 5 years of Hyperion Financial Management
Travel may be required for up to 25% of the time
Positive attitude, ethics and values which support the company*s values
Project management
Hyperion financial management functional expertise
CPA is preferred but not required
Understanding and experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma tools or other process improvement methods - Black-Belt certified with track record of successful projects
Highly proficient in Microsoft office software (i.e. Word, Excel etc)
Strong working knowledge of the close process
Excellent verbal and presentation skills
Well developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Broad financial acumen
Demonstrate ability to collect, organize and gain insight from internal or external business data
Ability to work effectively with senior company leadership. Lead and influence teams in a highly matrixed organization
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials (General Ledger, Asset management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expense) a plus
Bachelor's degree required, accounting or information technology preferred
