Title: I/T Business Systems Analyst III Location: BRA-Porto Alegre Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for senior-level Oracle Applications functional design and support responsibilities, which involve evaluating complex client requirements, processing, and preparing application systems design specifications, testing, and implementation of cost-effective application solutions in support of the Global Corporate and Accounting Enterprise Systems. The specific duties include providing functional design support and guidance on a wide variety of Web and Client-server based systems.
The basic requirements include a strong understanding of the Oracle e-Business Suite of Applications and its related technologies and in general have been involved for over five years in designing and developing and infrastructure to sustain Global Business Processes. These tasks should include, but not be limited to, requirements analysis, fit/gap analysis, applications setup, solution design, impact of interfaces, forms, and reports to the new environment being designed as well as solution for localizations. The role is to communicate, design, document, and gain acceptance with the client on the system setup and solutions that are to be deployed for the project. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying functional specifications and applications setup throughout the project life cycle.
Will be responsible for strategically designing, developing, and implementing data architecture within the application architecture. This individual will act as the primary advocate of data architecture methodologies, business requirements, owner of technical specifications, practices, methods and procedures. Applying advanced knowledge of principles of application programming, analysis, and ability to develop solutions to complex problems. Confer with end users, data base administrative team, data architect team and project management team to determine business problems, assesses impact, and determines timely resolutions or escalations. Prioritizes own work within the alignment of business goals.
Oracle Applications experience in an ERP or Financials environment is required. The ability to make both functional and technical contributions will make a difference in evaluating candidates. Candidates should have worked in a collaborative environment with an offshore development group and have working knowledge of best practices in this environment. Experience implementing Global, World-Wide applications in a Multi-Org environment is essential. It is important for the candidate to understand how to implement global process solutions.
The Oracle functional solutions architect is responsible for architecting the solution design of the Oracle modules, specifically Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, HFM, Hyperion Planning including setup and functional design for any necessary extensions, including, including workflow, forms, and reports.
