This position will be located in Round Rock, Texas.
This is an individual contributor role within Online Product Engineering (OPE) segment. This position reports to the Manager of Product Services & Solution Selling team, a team focuses on delivering complete services for online, offline, transactional, and Premier customers globally.
Job Role - System Analyst for middle tier Services
Clients - development leads/system analysts of user experiences/services teams
We are looking for:
1. Technical e-Commerce experience
2. Extensive technical experience with .Net and/or web applications
3. Experience with large (Fortune 500) companies
This person will need to have following qualifications:
· Should have technical background at a minimum able to write queries against the databases to troubleshoot data issues
· Should manage defects and communicate the impact of the defects to developers
· Should help authoring test data
· Should help getting business sign-offs
· Should help to train application support contribute to writing application support documents
· Should analyze how current state applications behave
· Should own the documentations for the APIs (Application Programming Interface) and provide descriptions for the APIs
· Should own the SRS (Software Requirements Specification)
· Should work with business to prioritize requirements
· Should participate in discussion with the business in defining requirements
· Experience conducting User Acceptance Test with business partners/targeted users
· Experience working with test teams on system integration testing
· Be the subject matter expert for the services and drive for long term roadmap recommendations
· Ensures that business and customer interests are represented and that development team is aligned on those needs
Requires bachelor's degree or comparable experience in lieu of education; Approximately 2-5 years of related work experience. Experience with or understanding of many of Dell's operational areas is extremely helpful. Prefer prior knowledge of or experience with Dell Product Data, eCommerce, or Order management systems. Understand Dell's data maintenance processes and any experience with Premier Customers and applications is a plus.
