IBM Sterling ArchitectTitle: IBM Sterling Architect Location: null Other Locations: null CIBER is looking for Senior Consultant who has proficiency in IBM Sterling Selling and fulfillment foundation(SMCFS) product implementation and support. Ideal candidate would have undergone at least 2 full implementation lifecycle for large retailer involving modules GIV; configure, price and quote; Order management and execution, returns logistics. Candidae should have at least 5 yrs of total IT experience with at least 4 yrs of experience in designing solutions on IBM Sterling product. Candidate must have exposure in tackling challenges related to implementation design decision making, performing PoCs, integration with order capture and other downstream and upstream applications with all performance considerations.
Responsibilities: * Lead the technical aspects of the design and delivery of SMCFS implementation solutions & related components. * Review existing logical and physical data environment to understand "as is" environment. Document 'as is' and 'to be' state according to larger objective of the program. * Assist architect and Project manager in making key design decisions by displaying expert knowledge and performing proof of concept. * Design configurations and customizations for data model, integration interfaces, caching mechanisms and batch loads. * Develop key solutions and assist other development team members with design, development and validation issues. * Design transition strategy for geography/ products for customer to new implementation. * Provide testing oversight (unit test, develops test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests; execution of test scripts) * Provide input to standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring issues such as data migration, performance issues and key business process change impact.
Required Skills: * Must have Lead SMCFS implementation teams. * Worked as assistant to architect and lead designer/developer. * At least 4 years full life cycle experience in large scale SMCFS implementations in mucti channel commerce environment. * Exposure to implementation projects for fortune 500 clients. * 4 years of hands-on experience in : * Designing and developing SMCFS solutions. * Integration with order capture, warehouse management systems, PoS, CRMs etc. * Solid knowledge and exposure on business center application. * Exposure to creating application transition strategy and roadmap. * Exposure to interaction with IBM/Sterling product support to secure hot fixes as and when required. * In depth knowledge of product configuration, data model,services and APIs. * Experience in designing heavy customization requirements prudently without sacrificing key product functionality. * Experience in working with internal and customer's supply chain teams to understand requirements,making informed design decisions and communication. * Proficient in developing estimates for SDLC. * Excellent communication skills * Leadership qualities and ability to influence/communicate with C-Level executives CIBER, Inc. is a global information technology consulting, services and outsourcing company applying practical innovation through services and solutions that deliver tangible results for both commercial and government clients.
