Job Summary
The Information Architect is responsible for creating the best possible user experience on . This position requires knowledge of user-centered design best practices and research methodologies. Candidates must possess demonstrable experience creating IA documentation, including task flows and interaction models, wireframes and design specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly strategic and engineering roles, to guide the user experience throughout each project.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Responsible for creating, researching and conceptualizing new interactions and solutions for applications across the UPS customer experience.
Generates UI mockups, prototypes, and specifications that adhere to UPS standards.
Conducts group reviews of generated deliverables with stakeholders.
Participates and influences Business and Functional Requirements to ensure customer needs are balanced against technical requirements.
Works closely with Project Management, Content and Design Technologist resources to plan and generate UI related deliverables.
Evaluates project definitions documents supplied by stakeholders to assist with estimating project scope and UI impact.
Assists with defining usability test plans, moderating sessions, and analyzing usability data.
Incorporates usability findings into UI design and communicate results to the project team.

Education and Experience

Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Visio, Axure and some knowledge of HTML
3-5 years user/interface design experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Authorized to Work in the U.S.
