Requisition Number 29376BR Position Title INFORMATION DEVELOPER Location of Position United States-Ohio-Mayfield Heights Business Group Global Sales & Marketing Relocation Eligible No Position Type Full Time Position Summary The Information Developer, creates technical content about hardware and software products using traditional interview and research techniques.
This technical content is used by end users as well as by internal personnel and channel partners to specify, select, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Rockwell Automation products.
May take responsibility for whole product lines. May also help test and create new information models as a result of evolving sales/user life cycle analysis.
Works with minimal supervision on multiple projects spanning weeks to months. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in technical or communication field or equivalent.
Coursework in technical communication required.
Coursework in computer science, electronics, engineering, or relates sciences desired.
Completed a minimum of six years in technical communication field or the equivalent in experience.
Demonstrated the ability to develop technical content in a clear and concise manner and to proofread own work.
Demonstrates the ability to interface with a variety of levels and functions, and possesses adequate interview skills to gather information from subject matter experts.
Experience with online help, HTML, web-based applications desired.
