Candidates should have demonstrated experience with information security and information assurance policies and best practices. Must be able to perform DoD information operations analysis and documentation. The individual should have experience with security evaluation activities and security evaluation support expertise within a DoD network environment. The applicant should have experience with the performance and development of Defensive Information Operations (DIO) and accreditation. Candidates will also need experience in the areas of security policy, policy development, and security evaluations. The individual will also need experience developing proper Certification and Accreditation documentation per the DIACAP. An active DoD Top Secret is required.
Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Qualifications Desired Skills:
Familiarity with DoD computing environments to include JWICS, SIPR, NIPR services. Experience with vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection industry tools and processes.
Experience with DIACAP/DITSCAP C&A processes and tools such as eMass.
Experience with HBSS, IAVA compliance validation and reporting and strategic COOP analysis is also desired.
The candidate?s duty will be to support a team of information technology professionals supporting a DoD computing environment. The candidate will work within the Information Assurance area. The primary responsibilities will include overseeing the Information Assurance activities in support of a DoD customer. The candidate will be required to perform periodic updates to the program manager as well as serve as a liaison with the government customer.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years or more of professional experience. Shall be considered knowledgeable in discipline.
This position will require a DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ or CISSP or other that aligns to the correct IAM/IAT job level responsibility.
