Job Description:
ORNL Federal Credit Union, East Tennessee’s Community Credit Union, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Security Officer to assume overall responsibilities for our central data center security, privacy policies, security architecture, and procedures. Will help design and support LAN/WAN systems, install and secure internal and external networks. Will test and evaluate network systems to eliminate security vulnerabilities and improve security posture. Will install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related security problems. Will identify and assess IT security risk/exposure of new and existing infrastructure. Will also review security incidents or events and recommend\implement appropriate corrective actions. Will plan and coordinate security needs, conduct tests, investigations and IT security related audits. Assist with disaster planning procedures and documentation. Will develop a security communications plan and raise the security awareness of the organization.

Working knowledge of a broad range of relevant systems to include LAN/WAN, AIX, Linux, VMWare and Microsoft systems is required. Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills, the ability to provide technical guidance to professional personnel and be able to present to small and large groups effectively. Must have the ability to develop and write systems and application security policies, and guidelines for technical staff and users.

Minimum of five years similar or related experience, bachelor’s degree and professional certifications including advanced Microsoft Server,CCSP,CISSP, CCNA-Security, CCSP or CISSP required. Cisco ASA Firewall experience required. MARS experience a plus.
