As the Database Architect, you will be responsible for: Ø Designing and developing the database architecture and database model needed for our client’s multiple systems. Ø Supporting multiple systems development projects in the review, analysis and evaluation of business database requirements. Ø Experience working with Linux/Unix/Windows platforms Ø Employing a variety of development methods and tools including: SQL, Informix , LINUX, Shell Scripting-Ideal Ø Ensuring the database(s) are secure and stable, and will also meet the demands of swiftly changing interface technology. Ø Performing complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of Informix software. Ø Performing modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. Ø Building & maintaining close relationship with customer and contractor contract involved in managing database-related processes/assets Ø Extracting qualitative and quantitative relationships (i.e., patterns, trends) from large amounts of data Ø Gathering and organizing information for use in supporting decision-making process. Ø Collecting, manipulating, analyzing, evaluating, and displaying data on three-dimensional characteristics and spatial variable on both small and large scales. Ø Designing, coding, testing, developing, and documenting programs/procedures for ETL process. Ø Applying a working knowledge of SQL and Informix to modify and enhance the existing Systems. Ø Providing and maintaining program and system documentation for all work. Ø Working as part of a team explaining to other technical personnel the changes needed to maintain a database's stability, or speaking with the client and project team leaders to describe the importance of the company's databases and their functions. Required: Years of experience (min) 3-5 Required: Degree Bachelors Required: Skills * 3-5 yrs experience with Database Design and modeling.
