Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Infrastructure Analyst located in Moon Township, PA through February 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

This position is a key position for the AMBU Infrastructure / Communications team, responsible for monitor and coordinate GIL updates and work with support in the AMBU operations area.

Position Details: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


* Monitor and coordinate GIL updates and work with support in the AMBU operations area.

* Accountable for a wide variety of IT initiatives

* Must be flexible, as priorities and customer demands can change quickly.

* Must be able to manage the schedule, cost and performance of multiple projects concurrently.

* Ability to develop positive working relationships with team members and peers. Must have strong organizational, teamwork and interpersonal behaviors. Customer Management skills need to be excellent.

* Must be willing to learn current and new technologies and their use in meeting business requirements.

* A strong understanding of multiple technologies including GIL desktop, server and networking.

* This position will need to interface closely with BU-IT teams, ITC, and Local Application Support teams while providing problem analysis and support when needed.

* Accountable for maintaining all HES / Safety requirements and training set forth by DWEP Business Unit.

* Maintain a stable network environment.

* Special projects as directed by the Infrastructure Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:


* Technical or Associates Degree or 2 years experience in the field.

* Work location for this position will be in MOO155. Occasional travel to Smithfield and Traverse City locations may be required.

* Analytical Skills - Strong server knowledge WK2008, Vmware ESX, Storage Netapps and ITC Servers requirements and Remedy.

* Communication Skills: Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing. Listens carefully and asks questions to understand the views, concerns and comments of others. Able to produce a broad spectrum of communications (e.g. newsletters, articles, PowerPoint presentations, technical documentation, matrix charts, and emails) for wide distribution. Experienced in giving presentations to all levels. Candidate should be able to convert technical language to be understood by someone non-technical.

* A good understanding of ETC and ITC technology and roadmaps.

* Willingness to learn complexities of the interoperability of networks and applications in the operations computing environment - able to assist network engineers with firewall.    
* Strong organization skills will be needed for scheduling and monitoring multiple ongoing projects.
