Our direct client is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer w/Tivoli Monitoring (ITM 6.2) . Serves as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of infrastructure monitoring technology solutions. Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering monitoring solutions for business applications. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure monitoring issues from the monitoring infrastructure or remote agents installed on infrastructure servers across the production environment. Request and expose customer requirements to produce a useful monitoring profile for a business application. Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining the monitoring infrastructure, managing vendor relations, support and tasks to resolve issues. Technologies span midrange, windows, server, network data, web, database, MQ, scheduling. Required Skills: Tivoli Monitoring (ITM 6.2). Good Communication - verbal & written. Unix. Wintel. Software:IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) v6.2. ITCAM products: Applications, SOA, WAS, Web Resources, Transactions Tivoli Data Warehouse Install upgrades / fixes. Operating Systems: UNIX, AIX, SUN, Windows ). Languages: Unix Scripting, XML, PERL, JAVA, SQL. 5 to 10 years of experience performing Hardware, O/S, and Application maintenance for technologies related to supporting Systems Monitoring. Certification in Tivoli Monitoring products is a plus . Bachelor degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four or more years experience in all phases of infrastructure resource management and monitoring or its equivalent in education and work experience.. MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK FULL-TIME IN THE U.S. FOR ANY EMPLOYER.
