A member of our Technical Services Division, located in Suffolk, VA, has an opportunity for an
Intelligence Analyst 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Work as a member of a Northrop Grumman TS team supporting the Joint Warfighting Center. Work as a member of a Northrop Grumman TS team to provide analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
Acts in support of the Joint Warfighting Center Operations Group and other organizations supporting joint training events to apply knowledge of intelligence, threat analysis and forecasting tools, applications and methodologies to identify adversarial intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential threat courses of action. The individual is expected to remain informed of political-military developments in theater and maintains liaison with other agencies in order to identify intelligence gaps and initiate the required collection to conduct holistic threat assessments. The incumbent will analyze threat network activities, composition and TTPs, geospatial distribution of events, indications and warnings of attacks, and information operations; conduct information retrieval, knowledge consolidation, analysis, and development of assessments of facts, threat intents, cultural behavioral norms, knowledge and implications of the operational environment, and adversarial involvement in that environment; and, provide proactive insight into anticipated enemy reactions to friendly current and future operations. The analyst will complete all Requests for Information in a timely manner, utilizing the most effective tools and applications, and brief results to senior military and government officials. The analyst provides training to deploying units on how to identify threat networks, composition, activities, TTPs, vulnerabilities and how to produce actionable intelligence; develops geographically correct and reality based IED network scenarios, threads and injects to facilitate AtN operations for inclusion into the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) during Mission Rehearsal Exercises, and participates to replicate Corps and Division level C-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC) support teams.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Minimum of five (5) years experience as an intel analyst required
• Requires demonstrated experience using ArcGIS and or similar applications
• B.S./ M.A. in related field and five (5) years minimum related work experience required
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Requires previous working experience using Analyst Notebook, AXIS PRO and or Palantir
• Requires working experience providing analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Top Secret level security clearance with SCI access to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Valid passport.
• Experience at Division level or above.
• Hands-on experience with computer-assisted exercises.
• Current operational experience working ISR and CM is a plus.
• Experience working joint/combined exercises at the COCOM and JTF levels.
• Military intelligence experience with one or more deployments to OIF or OEF.
• Knowledge of collection tasking systems (i.e. Planning Tool for ISR Synchronization Management (PRISM), Geospatial Intelligence Management System (GIMS).
