Intermediate Business Analyst Full-time, commencing immediately Decisioning Solutions Inc. The solutions are 100% customer administered and configured without IT or vendor involvement and deliver unparalleled flexibility and robust capabilities with extreme ease of implementation and configuration. Decisioning Solutions offers application processing systems, decision retrieval tools, data mining/reporting tools, and predictive modeling solutions to empower the decision-making process from pre-acquisition to retention and recovery. Decisioning Solutions also provides customers with an array of sophisticated decisioning features such as unlimited champion/challenger, tri-score matrixing, derived variables and predictive model hosting. As a key team member, the Intermediate Business Analyst is responsible for both internal and external reporting projects. Reporting to a Senior Business Analyst, the Intermediate Business Analyst will be required to understand customer processes, design and maintain transaction databases, and create timely reporting packages that allow customers to monitor business performance. The Intermediate Business Analyst will work with the Operations team to architect a solution, schedule deliverables, regression test and deliver the completed solution to the customer. As well, the Intermediate Business Analyst will monitor, review and recommend enhancements to the customers to leverage and maximize their investment. Additionally, internal initiatives may require the Intermediate Business Analyst to review and test new and existing product lines and recommend product enhancements on an as-needed basis. Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum 5 years of advanced Excel and/or Access knowledge, preferably with report building experience, including pivot tables, macros, query building, data formatting and graphing. Credit risk experience with demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following industries would be considered an asset, but not required: ÃÂ Leasing (Automotive/Equipment) ÃÂ Banking/Finance (Lending/Collections) ÃÂ Telecommunications ÃÂ Insurance Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work experience Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written) a must Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to provide a high level of support with attention to problem description, detail and impact Flexibility to work both collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently Flexibility to work overtime as required This is a full time position, Monday to Friday.
