At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact. * Provide support for the open source requests and administration of internal compliance tools and systems. Tasks include, but are not limited to, user account management/troubleshooting, component and application management/troubleshooting, and providing guidance for the tools and the processes to end users on a case-by-case basis. * Conduct in-depth research on legality, history, licensing and standards compliance of software components. * Demonstrate interest, knowledge, and curiosity in the area of software licensing. * Assist in other duties consistent with the team's initiatives. Enrolled in a program leading to a degree in one or a combination of the following subjects*: * Engineering Sciences * Mathematics * Computer Science * Physics * Computer Engineering * Software Engineering * Information Systems * Information Technology * Statistics * Actuarial Mathematics/Science * Science/Applied Science program with relevant courses taken in Computer Science and/or Engineering Candidates in other subjects with relevant education and/or work experience may be considered. * Highly self-directed, self-disciplined and self-motivated individual with positive work attitude * Adept at critical thinking and logic reasoning for problem solving * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for customer facing activity * Excellent team player with strong demonstration for taking initiative, interest and passion in exploring new tools * Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision * Interest in understanding software licensing laws and open source licensing * Excellent adaptability to new tools - past experience in support a big asset * Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail * Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycles * General knowledge of high-level programming languages such as C++ and Java, past development experience definitely a plus * Up-to-date with the world of technology and software development trends
