• Proficient in Microsoft OfficeThe Human Resources Intern supports the Human Resources team in their efforts to improve and enhance the department's operational processes. You'll shadow and complete special projects to support HR consultants. The skills you'll develop during your internship represent key strengths that are needed for a career in Human Resources.
Project Management:
• Support HR strategies that result in increased employee engagement and commitment.
• Support and lead leadership development programs for the region.
Onboarding & Retention:
• Ensure all new hire paperwork and files are established and filed within 7 days of New Employee Orientation.
• Assist with new hire retention initiatives.
• Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and coordinating meetings for department.
• Schedule logistics for focus group meetings and action planning.
Staffing and Recruiting:
• Participate in setting up phone screens and surveys.
• Ensure all new hire paperwork and files are established and filed within 7 days of New Hire Orientation.
• Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and coordinating meetings for department.
