Students should be currently enrolled in aBusiness program and have completed their 3rdyear,a team player who possesses good communication skills (written and verbal), able to learn quickly, self motivated and takes initiative.
Work is guided by detailed instructions, routines, and procedures. Works under close supervision and receives detailed instructions on all work assignments. May work autonomously once proficiency in the tasks is achieved. May be given more complex duties as proficiency is gained. Deals directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers and team members with guidance.
ACTIVITIES: * Managing supplier relationships from a contractual/financial perspective. * Managing budgets related to suppliers and providing periodic reports addressing variances * Point person for all finance inquiries related to various suppliers * Gathering and tracking monthly project updates from team members in order to maintain a concise summary of team's monthly activities for executive review * Preparing presentation material for various meetings. * Managing supplier payments from receipt to payment. Critical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Basic knowledge of the IT industry * Basic knowledge of SAP and Notes would be an asset * Understanding of BPM software such as Visio Physical Demands: * Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.* Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data * Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)
