Position Description The Inventory Disposition Specialist will be responsible for managing North American finished goods inventory, with a primary focus on maximizing recovery of distressed assets. This position will work cross functionally with the end to end supply chain, from planning to direct customer engagement. Core duties include managing inventory levels, preventing and mitigating E&O, data maintenance, orchestrating surplus auction processes, executive reporting, and facilitating customer delight. The Inventory Disposition Specialist will leverage existing surplus inventory sales outlets and processes, as well as expand and develop the ition Requirements - 5 years of supply chain experience, especially relating to inventory, sales operations, and fulfillment processes - Understanding of cross functional / end to end supply chain including: planning, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and sales operations - Aggressive individual able to work cross functionally (team work) and lead change - Good financial and business acumen able to work equally well with the financial, sales, and operations teams - Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain or business required. MBA and/or Lean Six Sigma a plus - Strong results orientation
