The IT Access Provisioning (ITAP) Team is responsible for providing the ability to securely access approved assets. These assets include; Business Applications and Productivity Tools, Company Information, Databases, and Shared Data Storage.
Roles and Responsibilities
To administer access, which includes; the adding/creating, modifying, and removing/deleting of access rights or user accounts. To always follow processes and documentation consistently and accurately. To adhere to all corporate polices and practices.
1 Network Access and Maintenance
* Administer network access - using the Aelita EDM - Enterprise Directory Management (Active Directory) toolset, the iManager toolset (Edirectory), the P-Synch toolset and internally developed scripts
* Synchronize and troubleshooting password problems using the P-Synch toolset
* Apply appropriate and strict processes for providing network access to external vendors
* Administer remote access to network through the configuration and distribution of RSA SecurID Tokens a.k.a. Key FOBs
2 Application Access and Maintenance
* Administer access to the company's 800+ business applications in Novell's ZENworks environment using the iManager toolset
* Administer Oracle access using the SmartDBA toolset
* Administer remote access through the Citrix environment to the network
3 File Server Access and Maintenance
* Administer group permissioning using the Aelita EDM active directory toolset
* Administer group permissioning using the native windows environment
* Administer Access to shared directories on the File Servers
4 Microsoft Exchange Access and Administration
* Administer accounts with the MS Exchange 2003 administration tool
* Create custom recipients, generic mailboxes and distribution lists using the MS Exchange 2003 administration tool
5 JD Edwards Security
* Generate user profiles and administer access to production security groups working with the JD Edwards security modules
* Administer access to JDE Citrix for JD Edwards
* Update name and location changes for the companies Intranet Yellow Pages
6 Internal Application Access
* Administer internal application access to business applications, including FileNet-FADS, RightFax, PetroDocs, Athena, PowerView, AnGIS, and others
7 Scripts
* Work with internally developed scripts
8 Troubleshooting
* Provide remote troubleshooting using the Dameware toolset
* Utilize ticketing systems, including Magic from Network Associates and Footprints from UniPress Software, Inc
