This role provides technical vision, direction and leadership across a wide spectrum of technologies with specific in depth expertise in applications, data, and integration or infrastructure technologies
Provide architectural expertise and direction to System Analysts, Project Managers, and other Architects
Architect will engage across project teams, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure business projects and enabling technology are delivered in line with the agreed Enterprise Architecture
Research new technologies and validate applicability to current infrastructure by extensive prototyping
Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
Develop in-depth knowledge and document organizations existing IT architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio
Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards
Establish test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance
Technical and functional specification writing experience.
Understanding of web technologies.
Leading the software subsystems technical teams through the entire design cycle including technology development, requirements generation, design and implementation, verification & validation as the key technical mentor.
Requires a BS or equivalent experience with MS preferred. More than 5 years of applicable experience. Candidates must also have a broad understanding of application architecture and software technology (JEE and/or .NET) as well as hands on or technical experience in software and systems development.
