Job Description
Accountabilities:
. Create and update functional design specification documents, including scope and requirements, functional specifications and data dictionary, and change requests.
. Elicit, analyze and document product business requirements to high impact, complex and cross functional processes.
. Conduct or participate in functional and business specification walkthroughs.
. Review functional specifications prepared by BAs or Assoc. BAs .
. Review project deliverables, including technical specifications, test plans and scripts.
. Identify and define functional, process and data requirements, including changes to original scope
. Create, review and update user and system documentation and training materials.
. Gather information about a problem, define changes to an existing application, and implement the changes using documents and specifications.
. Plan and coordinate analysis and design of projects.
. Identify impact of project deliverables on other applications.
. Conduct impact analysis on any changes to related applications or changes to the software environment.
. Identify process deviations.
. Provide order of magnitude estimates for idea proposals.
. Ensure project documents conform to standards and are kept current.

Minimum Requirements:
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
. Typically requires 8 or more years of information systems experience or relevant work experience
. IIBA CBAP or equivalent certifications.

General Requirements: Job Family Responsibilities:

Performs very complex analysis of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment and may create very complex functional and/or technical specifications and flowcharts. May facilitate very complex business case development (planning and initiation, responding to budget/plan changes, develop ad hoc planning requests and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.

Education:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those ically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Direction of Others:

Provides specialized guidance or train support and/or professional staff. Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated.

Key Working Relationships:

Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
