Overview:
Tyco Electronics is seeking a Senior SAP Finance and Controlling Analyst / Developer to work within the Global ERP Organization in the Asia Pacific region. This position, which reports to the manager of the SAP Finance Asia Pacific Team, will be responsible for developing new, and supporting existing applications and programs within the SAP FICO area. This role will require good team work and an excellent attitude to customer service because customer support is a significant focus of the job. The Senior SAP FICO Analyst Developer will work closely with all levels of staff within the shared service finance and BU controlling organizations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
· Develop new ABAP programs and enhance / support existing ABAP programs · Configure all areas with the SAP Finance and Controlling modules · Analyze new business requirements in the FICO area and develop Functional Design Documents in English language to document the proposed solution * Implement and support pragmatic, innovative solutions * Fully comply with the Global ERP Systems change control methodology · Respond promptly and competently to requests for support from members of the Finance and Controlling User Community * Implement SAP finance and controlling modules within Tyco Electronics as required as a member of a larger team * Lead small project teams to implement mini-projects
Qualifications: · 5-7 years of hands on SAP FICO configuration and ABAP development experience · Proven track record of successful SAP FICO project implements · Demonstrated process and project management capability. · Exceptional analytical skills, including data manipulation & analysis. · Highly proficient computer skills (Internet, MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel). · Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required · Good oral and written English communication skills, including strong presentation skills. * Excellent oral and written Mandarin Chinese communication skills · Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team · Self directed with high-level of initiative and strong work ethic. · Strong problem solving skills and ability to multitask. · Detail and results oriented. · Strong time management skills
