This Desktop Support Analyst position will be responsible for providing a high level of PC hardware and software support for our local and remote Windows and Mac clients.

Job Specifications:
·       Providing PC hardware and software support for our local and remote clients
·       Diagnosis of PC problems via phone, remote control of desktops or desk-side visit.
·       Installation of PC hardware and software
·       Upgrades of PC hardware/software (memory, hard drive, operating system, application, etc.)
·       Provide Server, SharePoint, Exchange and BES Support through a hosted environment.
·       Provide support for Mobile Device Technology (Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, etc.)
·       Provide support for hosted phone system.

Basic Requirements:
·       Excellent PC software/hardware troubleshooting and installation skills
·       Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing PCs, peripherals and applications
·       Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting users via phone, remote control and desk side visits in a large multi-location corporate environment.
·       Strong knowledge and experience with Windows 7, MS Outlook/Exchange,MS Office Pro
·       Experience with Mac OSX and Mac software, Windows 7's XP Mode, and Mac's VMWare Fusion
·       Windows Server administration experience.
·       Knowledge of phone systems
·       Experience using remote-control software to assist with PC issues
·       Experience configuring and installing local and LAN printers
·       Experience upgrading PCs (memory, hard drive, data transfer, etc.)
·       Experience installing and troubleshooting various applications such as MS Office, Web Browsing software, eMail packages, etc.
·       Maintain and update user's PC asset information
·       Excellent customer service skills
·       Must be willing to follow established procedures and guidelines
·       Willing and able to share IT knowledge, solutions and tips with other team members
·       Ability to document procedures and processes
·       Must be extremely flexible
·       Maintains poise under pressure
·       24x7 On-call technical support on a rotation basis
·       Domestic and international travel when required up to 10%
 
Preferred:
·       5+ years supporting PC users in a multi-location corporate WAN environment with dealing with hosted environment
·       Experience supporting mobile device technology.
·       Microsoft or other technical certification or training.
Pluses:
·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
·       Experience with Unix systems
Experience with encryption software.
