Title: IT Developer/Engineer III - GADSC - Sap-ABAP/BW/CRM Location: India-Bangalore HP's Global Delivery and Application Development Center Bangalorewas started in 2006 and provides offshore development support services ranging from basic development solution to warranty services for the most complex, multi-technology HP Business environments around the center has over 1000 engineers working on diverse Technologies such as SAP .Net, Java/J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, Informatics, Data ware house solutions Key Responsibilities The India Development Center (IDC) engineer works in multi various development projects to support HP business right from scope build to Move to Production. The IDC engineer continues to hand hold into warranty phase of any development solution moved to Production environment. Being part of a global team, at times, IDC engineers are expected to attend requirements/design workshops onsite or extended hours during System Integration /User Acceptance Testing. Job responsibility includes working through complex environment problems which may cut several cross integration applications and cross function modules with in SAP Requires working in SAP ABAP module covering Basic ABAP programming, Scripts, Forms, Layout sets, Module pool programming, User exits, ALE/IDOC Interface programming and De bugging skills. Must be able to understand the cross application integration with upstreamand downstream systems.
Responsibilities also include: * Code Development * System integration testing, * Development of knowledge base and training material, * Documentation of projects delivery * Able to work in a team environment of colleagues
Educational Qualification: B.E/h/MCA/MBA
Experience: Should have minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in IT and 3 years in SAP ABAP with at least one end to end SAP Implementation project in SAP CRM ABAP area; Should have good business knowledge . Should be able to handle the projects independently in the area of ABAP along with functional consultants Mandatory Skills:
1) Must have good understanding of ABAP coding, Data dictionary objects, workbench 2) Cross application Integration Knowledge is desirable. 3) Experience working on CRM 6.0. Well versed with CRM 6.0 architecture. Overall 3 years Exp. In CRM. 4) Business Server Pages (BSP) Programming 5) UI Framework ( IC Web Client) 6) Service Oriented Enhancements 7) Experience on CRM Knowledge Search (TREX), Middleware, Sales, Service would be an added advantage
Desirable Skills: · Windows Excel and Access Knowledge. Soft Skills Communication (Written & Verbal), Team Player, Flexible, Self Motivated. Result Oriented · Certification in SAP ABAP · Operating systems: HP-UX Windows, MPE Business Skills * Excellent Analytical Skills * Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English * Experience in interacting/supporting Customers * Must be a Team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers * Must have a 'service and support' mind-set * Strong experience of troubleshooting in heterogeneous environments
