As a member of the GADSC team, your will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of IT business solutions, based on the SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) platform. You will contribute technical and business knowledge expertise to design, implement and support integrated IT/Business solutions. Work in a self-directed environment where strong teamwork, individual initiative and accountability are highly valued.
Overall, the Developer/Engineer role involve researching, designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing and maintaining for existing and new business applications or functionalities inside SAP systems and/or other systems interacting with SAP as part of the global solution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, configuring of modifications or new functionality, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of the solution. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.
The person selected will:
- Participate in all necessary stages of SAP projects of diverse complexity and scope covering from requirements analysis over system configuration and design until testing and cutover support. Ongoing support of the SAP application will be handed over to a separate organization and is not part of this role. - Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. - Work in an international and virtual team together with other SAP project team members as well as with global and local HP business contacts. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process and may seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. - Help program developers understand business and SAP processes. Develop functional specs for SAP related programs. Assist program developers in program and system integration testing.
This is an opportunity for a SAP-ABAP consultant to work alongside other experts in the company and provide design, architecting, and technical leadership to HP's projects. You will also formulate and design new ABAP programs to customize different applications.
Experience and knowledge includes:
Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant professional IT background or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience At least 3 years on-hand experience in SAP consulting in this module Good level of fluency in English is expected
