IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for maintaining both residential and business technology within a Full-Service community. This includes analyzing systems and indentifying needs, maintaining the community hardware, software and networks, and training end users. The IT Manager will manage technology-related operations, initiative and projects and identify needs to support and upgrade infrastructure.
Essential Duties: IT Management

Supervises residential and business technology •
Develops and administers all aspects of information and instructional technology support •
Maintain community, hardware, software and network systems •
Manage technology related operations, initiatives and projects •
Develop, review and maintain and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans •
Create and maintain community-wide information systems including: local and web-based applications, work flow application and integrated database applications •
Ensure proper function of the community Emergency Call and Access Control systems •
Maintain Point of Sale system •
Maintain current knowledge of trends in technology and information services •
Effectively coordinates the efforts of consultants, contractors and Sunrise resources to complete large scale projects •
Monitor network and host activity for compliance with organizational policies Essential Duties: Customer Service

Develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with owners and residents •
Identify and provide appropriate support and training programs for the community's owners, residents and staff •
Train end users •
Supervises residential and business technology •
Essential Duties: Financial Management

Oversees the ordering process for equipment and supplies in compliance with Purchasing Department standards •
Monitor and drive accountability (budget management) for all projects and service delivery, performance and functionality •
Assists the executive director in completing the annual community budget •
Understands and manages the department budget to include labor and other expenses and it's impact on the community's bottom line •
Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data timely per Sunrise policies and internal business controls •
Coordinates with the community team to achieve maximum staff economies and cross training when applicable
Qualifications:
• Three (3) to Five (5) experience in client/server and web-based technology and computer operations and LAN /WAN systems management

One (1) year of IT Customer Helpdesk experience •
College Degree •
Previous experience training end users •
Ability to handle multiple priorities •
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations •
Competent in organizational, time management skills •
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills •
Strong knowledge of server and desktop systems; both Windows and Macintosh platforms •
Experience with CISCO Unified Communication •
Expert proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications •
Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times
