IT Manufacturing Shift Lead
The IT Manufacturing Shift Lead will be responsible for leading the IT plant support shift team andsupporting all plant shift/off shift emergencies. This role is also responsible for providing IT infrastructure and process support for Belvidere Assembly Plant Operations, plant floor applications and machine controls. Provide LAN administration, Microsoft Office and Windows level one support. The Lead will be the interface between plant and IT management to obtain requirements and resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT • Minimum 3 years' experience using assembly plant floor systems with experience in setup and configuration of manufacturing systems • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Office Suite and Windows • Experience in providing level one support of ethernet networks including switches, computers, printers, servers, wireless devices and knowledge of data highway networks
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field • Weekend and holiday support may be required • Experience with LAN/WAN technologies • Demonstratedunderstanding of PLC based automated machinery, data collection and process backup • Experience in support plant floor activities, including follow-up, and assisting plant customers in resolving manufacturing problems with IT Solutions • Good understanding of various computer programming • Experience in setup and configuration of customized manufacturing support systems • Experience in managing large, complex projects from beginning to end
