TheIT Project Managerwill manage Information Technology projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from project initiation to release, training, and project close. Responsibilities include execution of standard project deliverables, as required, including but not limited to charters/scope documents, resource plans, work breakdown structures, project schedules, communication plans, meeting minutes and status reports. Identify areas of risk, escalate as appropriate, develop risk mitigation strategies and implement mitigation actions for the risks identified. Provide project prioritization, planning, estimating, resource management, scope containment, issues management, and other related processes. The IT Project Manager ensures that projects are completed that meet desired scope, quality, budget, and time expectations. The IT Project Manager functions under moderate supervision managing tactical projects of varying complexity, or component projects of programs with minimal to moderate scope, budget, and teams. A typical workload will require actively managing 2-4 projects at any given time based on project scope and magnitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DESIRED RESULT:
Essential Function:Manage projects schedules
Desired Result:Creates and manages the project scope, project plan, project schedule, and project costs, using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes. Ensure there is a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the project plan, in order to align project stakeholders and team members.
Essential Function:Coordinate cross-functional and cross-departmental resources
Desired Result:Effectively include and engage the key stakeholders, business partners, IT partners, development, quality assurance, business analysts, learning and development, and subject matter experts.

Essential Function:Participate in project retrospectives and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Desired Result:Record and track project successes/challenges to assist with improving process to increase success rate.

Less than 5%
Additional Comments:
Off hours and weekend availability required 2-4 times per quarter.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
. Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
. 1-3 years of project management experience.
. Background in network infrastructure preferred.
SKILLS:
. Basic proficiency in Microsoft software applications and intermediate knowledge of MS Project
. Basic leadership skills
. Intermediate knowledge of PM Methodology, tools, and techniques
. Intermediate ability to quickly gain customers' trust and build relationships
. Intermediate ability to interview business sponsors and other stakeholders to gather and document project requirements into functional specifications to include: objectives for the project; business and functional requirements, page/process flows, success metrics and use cases
