Job Description
Responsible for managing business application projects in Canada and Latin America. Accountable for project goals, budget, requirements and overall support activities needed to ensure a successful project implementation for our business partners.
Strategy:
•Assure that strategic project plans are established to place the company in its best competitive position. •Ensure the integration and alignment of project goals with the Baxter's strategy. •Provide management with necessary communications and updates on new project methodologies. •Provide appropriate project team mentoring, coaching and recognition •Manage the ongoing aspects of relationships with business partners, consultants/vendors Solutions:
•Perform project management y/o business analyst function in cross-functional/cross-cultural teams depending on project size and assignment •Ensure the consistent application and use of project management processes and tools •Directs the conversion of customer or business requirements into project scope documents and plans that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. •Manages the functional analysis, timeline analysis, vendor studies, and requirements allocation for assigned projects. •Provide day-to-day guidance on tasks within the scope of a project. •Meet often with business and technical leadership teams to address service needs. •Coaching other team members and offering leadership advice.
Services:
•Provide project management activities including scope management, resource management, procurement management, communications management, and schedule/time management. •Specific project deliverables include: •
•High level estimates for projects •Project documentation •Formal project communications such as regular status reports or dashboards, periodic project presentations for management reviews and key stakeholders communication •Manage the contractual relationship with providers ensuring quality, commitments on schedule and success of contracted IT services. •Participate in vendor engagement reviews / new proposal process
Job Requirements
Education Level
Required:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant work experience Preferred:
•MBA or graduate program in business or IT Major Subjects / Specialties
Required:
•Experience delivering business application projects related with commercial and marketing process (CRM, E-Business, Contract/RFP/Tender Management, customer facing IT Solutions, etc) •Demonstrates experience and updated knowledge in enterprise business apps concepts such as CRM, BI, CPM, ERP, BPM, etc. •PMP Certification Preferred:
•Six Sigma •PMI Agile Certification or Scrub Master •Experience in deploying mobile and/or social media technologies along with enterprise business apps (e.g. Mobile Sales Force Automation) Type of Experience
Required:
•Demonstrated success and practical experiences influencing team members, stakeholders, and sponsors based upon recognized project management expertise. •Demonstrated leadership, experience with senior mgmt and very strong communication skills are musts •Project Methodology: use of complete lifecycle methodology including phases for requirements, design, development and deployment. •Demonstrated experience in applying organizational change management to make projects a success •Proven track record on delivering IT medium/large projects and teams across more than one function.
Preferred:
•Experience in leading initiatives that cross function and regional boundaries •Program Management and/or Portfolio Management experience •International experience Years of Experience
Required:
•Must have 10+ years Sr. IT Project Management experience in a larger organization •Must have experience communicating at the senior management level as well as at the end-user level Preferred:

Preferred:
•Health care industry experience not mandatory however ideally should possess experience in industries that are similar in terms of supply chain, product management, and regulatory requirements •Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese an asset •Experience in deploying mobile and/or social media technologies along with enterprise business apps (e.g. Mobile Sales Force Automation)
