Intechra is currently seeking an experienced anIT Programmer/Developer III in our Dallas, TX location GENERAL DESCRIPTION (SHORT SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS) The Programmer/Developer III is responsible to provide advanced to expert level technical and application development support in the following areas: . Provide programmed Windows and web-based business applications, using Microsoft .NET platform technologies, SQL Server (2005/2008), and C#. Therein, provide initial specifications and delivery documentation for software design and code modules. Perform/provide related maintenance, repair, and ongoing application support. . Provide/build application reporting functionality using SQL stored procedures and MS Reporting Services. . Perform/serve as lead in the performance of activities associated with collection/administration of IT business requirements throughout the Development Lifecycle to ensure that end product meets those requirements. Therein, document the project's vision and scope, requirements definition, analyze the requirements in relation to business functions, and translate them into structured design documents using analysis diagrams, prototypes, or scenarios. Develop and execute unit, system, regression and end user acceptance testing of completed systems. Perform changes to baseline requirements through established change control processes; . As indicated by the scope and complexity of a development project, perform database design and/or object architect functions. . Research, evaluate, determine feasibility, and recommend vendor software/hardware solutions as an alternative to internal development. . Provide advanced level application support and consultation to business unit task teams and end users. JOB SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS . Advanced to expert level understanding of the overall object oriented .NET programming design model (security, presentation options, business components, data access); . Expert level proficiency with SQL; advanced to expert level experience working with SQL Server 2005/2008 and MS Reporting Services; . Experience utilizing standard development application modeling techniques (UML, DFD); . Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load in a fast-paced, detail and deadline oriented environment; . Refined communication (verbal and written) and listening skills; . Refined analytical, project management, and problem solving skills; . Refined work ethic, attention to detail, and heightened sensitivity to service responsiveness; . Advanced system knowledge of WMS (ROMS2, Russ, ICATS); .
