Job Description
-Work individually or on development team to deliver customized line of business applications using or C# or , or J2EE, SQL, XML Web Services
- SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL (Database Design and T-SQL a plus)
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems like Windchill/Ennovia Matrix One a plus
- Design and develop application prototypes, utilities, and solutions across multiple environments using full life-cycle methodologies (requirements definition, design, development, testing, and implementation)
- Experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming
- Participate in internal design reviews and code reviews; perform unit testing and conduct system testing
- Implement workflows; build / support interfaces and integrations; educate co-workers; and assist with other development priorities as required
- Adhere to articulated best practice processes and procedures in support of the SDLC, Change Management, and other internal and external standards
- Create formal technical / system documentation to standards and conventions
- Performs complex product design, systems analysis, and programming activities on application software which may require some research.
- Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
- Will research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems.
- Conducts complex unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
- Analyzes complex programs and defines actions necessary to change logic functions.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for mission critical business applications.
- Produce specifications of business requirements to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed changes.
- Facilitate productive relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the Planning management and implementation of business change.
- Ensure that project and business application support documentation is maintained.
- Performs full range of standard work for the professional field.
- Refers complex, unusual problems to others.
- Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.
Requirements
- Experience with support and maintenance of 3rd party business application.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and Integration Services
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with Infragistics
- Experience with CRM tools such as Sage SalesLogix
- Experience with EPM tools such as MS Project Server
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required. Certification may be required in some areas.
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues.
