Build and Release/Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Summary: The successful candidate will oversee and continue to develop our build and release procedures. They will be involved in the accuracy and versioning of code deployments and assist QA with testing during the development process.
The successful candidate will work with members of the Development Team, Project Managers and QA to help ensure efficient, successful and accurate project releases.
Roles and Responsibilities: · Work with developers to setup build/release process across all products · Help scale and improve current release procedures and expand guidelines to entire release process · Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodology. · Ability to manage multiple ongoing work streams and adaptable to changing priorities. · Work with QA to test and verify applications · Execute and monitor builds and help with build issues. · Supports and integrate with the QA process. Requirements: · 3+ years' experience in testing or development of web applications · Articulate with ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing · Excellent knowledge of SVN or similar code management · Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance practice and procedures. · Should have clear understanding of overall web and internet technologies · High attention to detail · Good Problem solving, planning and analytical skills · Ability to manage time wisely · A confident and self-motivated individual and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment. · Experience with C# and SQL Server or similar · Experience with Selenium or similar automated web testing framework · Should be able to create detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts from the stake holder Requirements.
