Overview: To provide IT Support (level 1 support)to users.
This person will handle both Windows and Linux desktop support
This person should have strong time management skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide level one support through out the company. - Deliver quality customer service to all computer users. - Provide technical support in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of desktop systems and peripherals. - Good knowledge of computer hardware and software. - Interesting in fixing computer and doing desktop support. - Good knowledge of Microsoft XP, MS-Office. Linux is a plus. - Good knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 computer networking. - Able to communicate well with end users for troubleshooting. - Able to provide best possible solutions for end users based on their needs. - Able to help none English speaking users with minimum computer skills. - Able to provide good services to end users. - Able to move equipments and setup testing environments for engineers. - Flexible to answer calls during none working hours. - Able to create new technical support processes and procedures. - Excellent in customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. - Escalation and transfer calls to level two support as appropriate - Diagnose problems by asking accurate, concise questions in a professional and timely manner.

PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW Basic Qualifications: Education and Experience BA/BS Computer Science or equivalent degree, strongly preferred. 0-3 years experience and knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks Experience in network security and workplace security. Experience in maintenance and management of Windows 2003 servers. Experience in installing and troubleshooting Microsoft networks. Experience maintaining server equipment configuration files. Knowledge of internet networking, DNS and an understanding of network security Knowledg of VoIP systems a plus.
