About the Job:
We are looking for an IT Administrator to assist our two main offices in Northern and Southern California and remote employees with all of their technology needs. This talented individual will be an individual contributor to work primarily with our office environment.
Since the IT Administrator will be working directly with our employees, the right candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills. We are growing rapidly, so we need to add someone to our small team that has experience across multiple operating systems and mobile devices and be comfortable in working and leading projects autonomously.
Responsibilities include: Manage network infrastructure equipment including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks, VLANs, Storage, and Server systems.
? Monitor network infrastructure and critical system alerts, errors and start course of action to remedy problems
? Manage Active Directory Resources, Users, Computers, Group Policies, OUs, etc. Administer DHCP, DNS, WINS systems
? Manage enterprise backup systems
? Test and install service packs & critical updates on all computers including servers and end user computers using a managed distribution system
? Manage Enterprise Anti-Virus System
? Install servers and applications according to vendor specifications and regulatory
requirements
? Provide support for desktop, telephone system, and mobile device services
? Perform any other projects as needed.
? Administer Active Directory structure
? Administer business applications, i.e. Accounting, R&D, Regulatory, Clinical systems, etc.
? Maintain Information Technology documentation including policies, SOPs, IT narratives,
diagrams, etc.
? Administer and modify network configurations as requested (firewalls, switches, routers, VPN & wireless networks) according to Change Management policies
? Participate in the design and implementation of network configuration related to
firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN systems
? Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures
? Develop and maintain Help Desk Infrastructure (Hardware/Software)
Experience Requirements:
-3 years of experience in Network Administration and Desktop support
-Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 and Desktop operating systems required
-Microsoft Active Directory required
-Microsoft Exchange 2007 required
