This is a permanent employment position.
Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Training Coordinator. The IT Training Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and support of all aspects of IT Training for projects within the Project Management Office.
Role and Responsibilities
Acting as liaison between project teams and the business users for all IT system training;
Work with project managers to ensure training standards are followed including documentation, training approaches, training plans, etc.
Guide project resources in all aspects of project-related training requirements;
Developing and enforcing all IT system training documentation standards where required;
Where required, deliver workshops and training sessions for IT and projects in conjunction with the Business;
Investigating and coordinating any external (3rd party) IT system training;
Manage project training event planning and preparation including:
Schedule trainings and secure training sites
Supervise registration lists, confirmation letters to trainees and trainers
Develop/revise and keep current all training manuals and materials
Supervise assembly of all training manuals and materials
Supervise assembly of all training supplies and food
Coordinate site set-up and break-down.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Related post-secondary degree or college equivalent in Management Information Systems combined with a minimum of 10 - 12 years of IT or training related experience;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required;
Excellent inter-personal skills;
Sound knowledge of Project Management methodology;
Related experience in a training environment.
Desired Skills
Project management experience is a benefit.
