IT21 - Programmer Analyst System Analyst I (Hyperion Planning and HFM)
Under general supervision, assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems. Assists in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs. Reports directly to the Business Intelligence Lead.
Under general supervision, performs the following:
Able to develop new programs of moderate to complex scope, works with moderately complex applications systems design specifications; and utilizes Company standards, procedures, and techniques.
Maintains and modifies existing application programs and corresponding documentation.
Develops program test plans and assists in the development of application test plans.
Identifies program and application problems, and suggests practical resolutions.
Assists in the education and development of less experienced IT Programmers.
Participates in on-call application support.
Under direct supervision, performs the following:
Prepares detailed specifications from which simple to moderately complex programs will be written.
Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, and detail systems design.
Identifies program, application, and system problems and provides effective solutions.
Required Skills:
General level of knowledge around Hyperion Planning and HFM.
Moderate level of technical skills including writing/creating calculation scripts, business rules, MaxL automation scripts, load rules, and report scripts.
An understanding of relational and multi-dimensional databases (ROLAP, OLAP, MOLAP, OLAM), data warehouse, and data model is required.
A broad understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL.
Experience with DRM, EBS adapter, HFM Disclosure Management, and FDM is a plus.
Experience with OBIEE products is a plus.
General understanding of Oracle BI roadmap and architecture.
Solid experience using MS Office, especially in MS Excel.
Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills.
