Responsible for Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking of Marine Corps legacy ground equipment. Conduct liaison with unit points of contact and field support representatives. Locate equipment designated to be IUID marked. Provide Quality Assurance by ensuring proper surface preparation, placement of IUID labels on all designated equipment in accordance with applicable Marking Instructions and validating human readable information (HRI) on IUID label with HRI on existing equipment data plate. Utilize handheld mobile computer/scanner to scan all IUID labels placed on Marine Corps legacy equipment. Develop and submit discrepancy reports for labels identified with incorrect data elements. Utilize Support Activity Supply System (SASSY) report to validate and document items marked.
Associates Degree or equivilent.
3-5 years Marine Corps supply and/or logistics experience preferred..
Familiar with I MEF units and locations aboard Camp Pendleton. Familiar with USMC Ground Equipment to include equipment characteristics (NSN,P/N,TAMCN). Ability to communicate effectively.
