This position requires someone who is a natural leader, advisor and facilitator. The individual should be able to present complex technical topics to senior IT and business leaders. The eCommerce architect should be consultative while multi-tasking through numerous stages of multiple projects. The individual must be able to deliver solutions and add value on a regular basis, while balancing the workload of providing efficient and smart solutions. The eCommerce architect should have the ability to balance business requirements & recommending cost effective IT solutions. The individual should have the ability to keep strategic business and IT roadmaps in perspective with the IT solutions/recommendations. A key requirement of this role is for the individual to maintain technical oversight over the invest projects and production systems. The Senior eCommerce Architect is responsible for conceptualizing and designing architectures that enable Commercial and Consumer Markets (CCM) strategic objectives. The objective of this role is to ensure that the business and quality requirements are being met by the technical design and implementation. This includes: initial architecture design, providing insight and direction from a hardware and software perspective, assessment of impact on technology architectural standards and participation in the full development lifecycle of the capability being delivered.
