Deliverables:
Architecture/Design:
1) Develop overall architecture working with our clients engineers
2) Provide industry perspective to optimize our design.
Development: (Ideally developed in a irritative agile method)
1) Fully compliant our clients implementation of JMS 1.1
2) Development of JMS extensions
3) Support logging for tracing, performance and diagnostic recording capabilities conforming to existing infrastructure as needed.
4) Development of sample application for:
a) QA functional/performance test and validation of the API
b) Customer sample applications to demonstrate API usage
c) Work with test automation engineers to support the development of automated test applications.
5) Support the development of documentation via Javadoc.
6) Develop test and qualification plan
Candidate:
Must be able to quickly understand our clients messaging architecture so that the JMS design will be completely JMS 1.1 complaint and optimized for low latency performance. Must be a team player able to work, collaborate and partner with other engineers. Must have superb communication skills.
Required Skill Set:
Expert on Message orientated Middleware
Experienced developer of Client APIs
Detailed understanding and experience with JAVA components such as JNDI, J2EE, service factory
Understanding of messaging back ends and architectures to support API
In depth understanding of publish subscribe and point to point queuing models
Extensive knowledge of JMS durable subscriber and Persistence.
