Jr Application Support Engineer

Recommend known technical solutions and develop workarounds for corrective action . Properly document communications and actions for customer issues in our CRM system . Isolate probable causes of issues and provide root cause analysis . Contribute regularly to the internal and external Knowledge Base . Report errors to Development . Act as an ambassador for the Primary Support organization . Participate in After Hours Support & Weekend shifts as scheduled Desired Work Experience: . 3D/CAD design/modeling . Experience with authoring applications . Experience with Flash, HTML, and Java Scripting . SQL and Microsoft SQL Server . Computer Science, 3D Graphics/Visualization, or 3D Animation degree/diploma or equivalent industry experience. . Knowledge/ Experience with 3D or CAD applications such as Maya, 3DS Max, Lightwave, Catia, Pro/E, and/or SolidWorks. . Knowledge/ Experience of the software development lifecycle, such as .NET and web development technologies, e.g. Flash, HTML, JavaScript, SQL. . Working knowledge of Networking fundamentals . Excellent diagnostic and technical analysis skills . Excellent communication skills . Ability to assess, plan and troubleshoot while collecting information about the customer issue . Proficiency in Windows operating systems and reasonable knowledge of SQL Server
