Junior Software Developer Primary Duties: * Leverage Java, J2EE, Tomcat, etc., to build and maintain highly scalable, highly available, modular code* Work closely with the search engine marketing team to gather requirements, generate specifications and communicate project statuses to stakeholders* Work with other members of the engineering team to design, implement, test, and deploy new features for the search engine marketing technology software suite* Participate in design and code reviews* Ensure project timelines are met with high quality deliverablesQualifications: * At least 1-3 years of direct, relevant experience* A self motivated, team player with excellent communication skills with well rounded problem solving skills* A BS / BA Degree; preferably in Computer Science with software engineering experience or equivalent level of experience is required* Solid Java experience is essential* Experience with SQL Databases - Oracle is a plus* Experience with ORM frameworks - Hibernate is a plus* Experience with Web Application frameworks - Struts 2 is a plus* Experience with Web Services - Axis / Axis2 is a plus* Experience with JSPs is a plus* Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Ajax is a plus
