Our Bowie, MD office is providing engineering support to the Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) and DISA. We are currently seeking to fill a Junior Technical Writer/Editor position. You will be expected to edit documents and proposals developed for the DSO in accordance with format and content guidelines clearly outlined within our Report Preparation Guide. You will work with engineering personnel and other project team members to identify documentation requirements, obtain source data, and develop content. Documents are expected to be complete and legible and prepared in accordance with contract and company standards. You should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities in accordance with changing customer requirements.
Required Experience: Bachelors Degree and 0+ years directly related experience

Proficiency in MS Word software, and the ability to use the internet and graphics software. A successful candidate must also have the ability to write well (grammatically correct), must be able to proofread accurately, and must be detail- and process-oriented. Good communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must. Finally, demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines is also required for this position.

This position will require a background investigation and eligibility for a government security clearance which requires US citizenship.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
