Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is to define, develop, maintain and support Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications
RMAN backup and recovery.
Managing Oracle database in Unix/Linux/Windows environment
Maintain application using PLSQL and assist in documentation
The candidate should also have a working knowledge of UNIX shell scripts, PL/SQL and be skilled and experienced in data modeling, and applications analysis and development
Requirements:
Required Skills: The qualified candidate will possess 3+ years experience as an Oracle DBA on UNIX operating system and preferably an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
Oracle 9i thru 11g Administration and maintenance.
Oracle Application Service 10g adminstration, SOAP web services, XML and Java.
Skills with data modeling, applications analysis and development.
Proficient in Unix/Linux shell scripting and documentation
