The Marketing Database Manager must be passionate about data. He/she will be responsible for managing and manipulating customer and prospect data to and from marketing databases to support the execution of global B2B marketing campaigns. This individual will work closely with the corporate and field marketing teams to build customer segments based on the go-to-market strategy, using contact attribute data collected from direct response forms, newsletter subscription pages, internal account data and other data collected from both direct and indirect customer input. In addition this person will work closely with the FMM to ensure that the proper data formats and naming conventions are used to collect and measure required marketing data as defined by the product marketing teams. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the continual improvement of our data sources and response and lead management efforts. This role will be the primary lead for monitoring, analyzing, and improving our marketing databases.
Responsibilities * Mine internal databases to develop target market segments for campaign lists * Manage the marketing database to ensure accuracy and marketability of the lead base * Dedupe and cleanse lists for global marketing campaigns * Analyze and monitor worldwide marketing response and lead generation data * Manage response and opportunity data to and from lead qualification teams * Report data trends and statistics related to worldwide marketing campaigns * Manage worldwide unsubscribe data * Manage inbound and outbound data for B2B marketing programs and campaigns * Strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of key marketing and business metrics, and the ability to apply insight to analytical data * Ability to manipulate data for segmentation and list creation
Required Experience:
Top 5 Responsibilities * Administrator of marketing database and all related marketing designs and processes. * Training of field marketing managers on how to manage campaigns, import lists, and utilize Marketo capabilities. * Define, create, and manage process of delivering qualified leads to telemarketing.
