The Corporate Sector has an open position to Lead Analyst - IT.
This professional will be responsible for: Representing the Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) team to internal business customers, BI teams in the business groups, and other IT areas to communicate and support strategy, initiate opportunities, and identify business intelligence requirements and also responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions by designing, deploying, and supporting those applications as part of the EBI team.
The essential functions which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of this position are described below:
Works with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for BI solutions including data required, data sources, data transformations, analytical appications, dimensional hierarchies, security requirements, etc.
Creates detailed design documents to be used for development of data warehouse structures, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
Designs data models using star schema modeling techniques. Communicates data model requirements to DBAs and DW developers.
Develops, or works with contract resources to create ETL processes using Informatica for successful development, testing, and implementation.
Develops, or works with contract resources to create and deploy reporting solutions using Cognos 8 tools.
Perform analysis, design, and development necessary for conversion of Oracle Discoverer reports to Cognos 8.
Support business customers in the use of BI applications including training and troubleshooting
Job Qualifications /Educational Requirements
This position requires:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
* Exhibits expert knowledge of business intelligence concepts, and technologies
* Large experience leading development teams and managing delivery
* Experienced in self management and demand prioritization
* Expert in working with business users to document business requirements and create technical designs for both data warehousing structures and processes and for reporting solutions.
Hands on business intelligence experience with Cognos 8.3 or higher.
o Design, create, and maintain Cognos BI framework models.
o Design, create, and maintain Cognos BI professional reports.
o Optimize user interface.
o Maintain Change Management and Production Processes related to Cognos BI development
o Provide product knowledge transfer as necessary.
o Produce documentation during planning, assessment and design of reports .
o Create and execute test cases as required.
* Experience with Informatica is preferable.
* Experience with Oracle Discoverer is preferable.
