Our client is an innovative software development company primarily contracting to the Federal Financial Regulatory Agency. As such, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Configuration Management Specialist to compliment their team.
This is the ideal role for a high caliber software professional with significant experience of configuration management and a background of performing automated builds and continuous integration. Offering a progressive and dynamic environment, the successful candidate will have the chance to utilize world-class technologies and play a key role in our client's growth and accomplishments.
As the Senior Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for leading software projects and ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
Primarily involved with software configuration management and automated build scripting, your role will also encompass integrations and a variety of ad hoc projects.
You will work with some of the industry's best and brightest minds within a proactive and customer-centric organization where excellent service and high performance products are the key to success.
To be considered for this unique role, you must have:
- At least five years' experience of configuration management - A minimum of three years' experience of performing automated builds - At least three years' continuous integration experience
As the Senior Configuration Management Specialist, you must have a team player mentality and exceptional problem solving skills. A friendly and approachable nature coupled with the ability to work to deadlines and within budgetary constraints is key, as is superb technical knowledge and strong business acumen. Excellent communication skills are also essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Experience with AntHill Pro (AHP) would also be beneficial to your application.
