Description Phacil anticipates a need for a Lead Database Administrator in Washington D.C. Scope This opportunity is with the agency's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This division is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and development of systems, applications, and infrastructure that enable and support themission of the customer's bureaus and offices. The project will be providing support services to the OCIO/Enterprise Applications Support Division (EASD). The OCIO/EASD is responsible for the agency's help desk operations and for the operations and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. The work will cover the Help Desk and End-User Services, System Operations and Non-Routine Tasks in Support of Infrastructure Operations. The Lead Database Administrator shall be responsible forthe maintenance and support of the existing and future database for the s includes for managing data, data set placement, database perfomance and datarecover and integrity at a physical level. The Lead DBA will develop and documentthe Database Administration procedures that meet the customer's requirement, providesecurity administration including managing role and end user database permissions,restores and export dumps or back ups etc. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline required 10+ years in Oracle and SQL Database Administration Oracle RAC and GRID experience OCA required OCP preferred Must be a US Citizen to obtain clearance
