Lead Decision Support Analyst
Kelly IT Resources has a contract-to-hire position for a Lead Decision Support Analyst in Center City Philadelphia. Our client is looking for a candidate that has a CPA or MBA, who can dig into the ""details"" using Access, models and advanced Excel. Then take those finding and present them via a reporting package (i.e., Desktop Intelligence/Crystal Reports/Xcelsius, will accept Hyperion and/or Cognos). Although based in Center City Philadelphia, this position may require an occasional trip to the United Kingdom. There will be significant end-user management and interaction including training which can take place with end-users in other countries/cultures via phone.
Lead Decision Support Analyst - IP & Science Central Decision Support
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES This position will be responsible for leading/providing enterprise and ad-hoc reporting as well as reporting analytic development and support for IP & Science. This position will also partner with business and technical resources to enhance the reporting and analysis environment.
Responsibilities Include: • Act as business lead for systems upgrades and related projects • Provide standardized enterprise reporting and analytic solutions to be used across the organization • Develop understanding of business partner needs, current state and develop designs for future state • Coordinate with business and technical resources to support data warehouse enhancement projects, including requirements, design, testing and training • Build subject matter expertise in Order-to-Cash and revenue subject areas in the data warehouse • Provide reporting, analysis and guidance for acquisitions, new product launches and billing accuracy issues • Lead and support Finance efficiency projects through the use of Business Intelligence tools • Support SOX and year-end audit reporting/analysis
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/MBA preferred • 5-7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Reporting • Expert-level experience with SAP and Business Objects suite of tools (Web Intelligence/Desktop Intelligence/Crystal Reports/Xcelsius) • Highly proficient with MS Office applications, primarily MS Excel and MS Access (or any related database) • Demonstrated project management abilities • Business savvy and strong presentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various time zones • High level of technical aptitude to learn and apply new technologies • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures • Good analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Highly motivated with ability to drive results and work independently
